Cycling for Sight 2026 Registration and Fundraising Instructions

1. To Register yourself, click “Register & fundraise” button.
All Cyclists and Volunteers must Register separately for CFS.
Select “Add +” button for one of the four Registration Categories.
Answer script questions and fill-ins; then click “Continue” bar, complete more fill-ins and click “Confirm” bar. For Captains Ride or Saturday Dinner only, also complete Payment method – by credit Card or U.S. bank account.

When successfully Registered, a popup window “Become a fundraiser” appears; enter target $ and click “Create campaign”. Another popup declares your campaign is live! Click “Copy share link” and save the url link to your personal CFS bucket. Then click “View campaign”.

[Note – For Tandem Teams to share a CFS fundraising bucket, include both Names in the customized Title field when first partner registers, double the $ Goal, and then the second partner registers but does not create a fundraising campaign, and shares the single bucket and link.]

Now is your first chance to customize your CFS fundraising page, by clicking “Edit campaign” button. Sequence and edit the customization options for: Title, $ Goal, Description (your BSC/CFS Story), mood color, Banner (masthead image or video), logo, custom thankyou email message. After last “Next” action, success screen is “Congrats! Your campaign is ready.”

In the “[name], share your campaign!” email, click “Activate your account” hotlink to create a password for your Zeffy account; save your password for future customization and other features.

2. To Donate to a CFS Participant, click “Donate” button.
Most Donations are expected to be associated with and collected in Participant Fundraising “buckets”, which can be found using the Search window or click on name under “Individuals” List. Select or Edit donation amount, and click “Continue”. Complete fill-ins for your Name, Email and address; then complete Payment method – by credit Card or U.S. bank account.

Donors can also mail a personal check to “San Diego Center for the Blind” with “CFS” and participant Name to SDCB, 5922 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego 92115, Attn Jose Navarro (CFS). Donations requested through employer or corporate Giving Programs should also be brought to the attention of Jose Navarro, for proper processing into the CFS Campaign and your bucket.

3. To Fundraise without register, click “Fundraise Only”.
A popup window “Become a fundraiser” appears; enter Campaign target $, your Name and Email, and click “Create campaign” button. Then click “Edit Campaign” and use customizing tools to add your story and images, edit thankyou email to donors, etc. After last “Next” action, success screen is “Congrats! Your campaign is ready.”

You will receive an email subj: [name] share your campaign; click “Activate Your account” hotlink to create password for your Zeffy account login; save your password for future use.
